By confirming your car rental booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Document Submission and Verification

You must provide a photo or scanned copy of your valid NRIC/Identity Card (for Malaysians) or Passport (for foreigners), along with a valid Driving License, during the booking process. You must also present the original documents at the time of car pick-up for verification.

2. Free Delivery and Delivery Charges

Free car delivery and return services are offered at Kuching International Airport. For other areas, a delivery surcharge of RM25 (one way) applies for Kuching Town, Hotel Zone, Kota Samarahan, and Batu Kawa/Moyan areas. Charges may vary depending on traffic or location.

3. Operating Hours

Our car rental operations (including pick-up and return) are available daily from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, including weekends and public holidays. Please note, our administrative and finance office is closed during weekends and public holidays.

4. Pick-Up and Return Timing

The earliest pick-up time is 8:00AM. Pick-up or return outside normal working hours (10:00PM to 8:00 AM) will incur additional charges RM25 (one way). For such arrangements, please contact us via WhatsApp in advance.

5. Peak Season Surcharge

An additional surcharge applies during public holidays and peak seasons for car pick-up and drop-off.

6. Daily Rental Charges and Early Return

Rentals are charged on a daily (24-hour) basis with a minimum rental period of one day. Any usage under 24 hours will still be charged at the full day rate. Overtime beyond 24 hours will incur an additional day’s charge. No refunds will be issued for early returns.

7. No Cancellation Policy

Once a booking is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, and the booking fee will be forfeited.

8. Non-Refundable Bookings

All bookings, duplicate payments, and unused or partially used services are strictly non-refundable. However, changes to rental dates or extensions can be made, subject to vehicle availability.

9. Rental Extension Policy

Extension of rental time depends on car availability and our approval. Last-minute requests may be declined. If no prior extension is made, a full-day late fee will apply. A 15-minute grace period is provided, after which additional hourly or full-day charges may be applied.

10. Restricted Travel Areas and Outstation Charges

Car use is limited to Kuching (excluding Borneo Highland and Kampung Sapit), Kota Samarahan, and Serian town. Traveling outside these areas requires prior approval and incurs an outstation surcharge. Unauthorized travel will result in a RM500 penalty plus outstation charges. Pan Borneo Highway usage is discouraged due to poor road conditions.

11. No Smoking or Strong Odors

Smoking or transporting strong-smelling items like durian or raw fish is prohibited. A cleaning fee of RM100 will apply if the vehicle is returned with any unpleasant odors.

12. Traffic Rules and Fines

Speed trap cameras are active, especially from the airport to town. Speed limits are 70 km/h in town and 100 km/h outside. All parking or traffic fines during the rental are your responsibility. A RM20 processing fee will be added for each fine we handle. You remain liable for any violations even after returning the car.

13. Payment Terms

Full rental payment and the security deposit must be made upon vehicle collection. Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, e-wallets (DuitNow, Touch ‘n Go, Boost, GrabPay, ShopeePay), and credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). A processing fee applies to credit card payments.

14. Security Deposit Policy

A refundable security deposit (ranging from RM200 to RM2,000 or more depending on the car model) is required. This deposit will be returned via bank transfer within seven (7) working days after return, provided the vehicle is clean, undamaged, odor-free, returned on time, and with the correct fuel level. Any missing or damaged accessories will be charged accordingly.

15. Optional Excess Protection

Excess Protection is available to limit your financial responsibility in case of damage. Rates are RM20/day (Compact, RM1,500 excess), RM30/day (Sedan, RM2,000), RM40/day (MPV, RM2,500), and RM80/day (Large vehicles, RM3,000). Without this protection, you will be liable for the full cost of damages.

16. Exclusions to Excess Protection

Excess Protection only applies to collisions between two moving vehicles. Damage while the car is stationary, from negligence, illegal acts, tire damage, fuel errors, electrical issues, or damage to accessories, windows, mirrors, or the undercarriage, is not covered.

17. Third-Party Accident Responsibility

If the vehicle is damaged by another party, you must collect all necessary information (vehicle number, driver’s name, and license number). If third-party insurance cannot be claimed, you will bear the damage costs under the stated excess clause.

18. Undercarriage and Overhead Damage Liability

You are fully responsible for any underbody or overhead damage. Insurance coverage is void if the car is driven on unsealed or rough roads.

19. Accident and Theft Reporting Procedure

In the event of an accident or theft, you must contact us immediately and follow our instructions. A police report must be filed within 24 hours and a written report obtained.

20. Peak Season Price Adjustment

Rental prices may increase during peak seasons due to high demand. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice.

21. Vehicle Availability Disclaimer

Car availability is not guaranteed during peak seasons. Please contact us directly before booking online to confirm vehicle availability.

22. Vehicle Substitution or Booking Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel bookings or substitute a reserved vehicle with a similar or alternative model due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any issues resulting from such changes.

23. Terms Modification Rights

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and shall not be held liable for any legal consequences arising from such modifications.
